The Walker \u0026amp; Hall pennant mark and pattern number are still present on the underside.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shape is wonderfully restrained. Straight-sided with a gentle taper, sitting on a stepped foot and finished with a crisp pinched spout that pours beautifully. The handle has a classic S-curve with a small curled detail at the top that gives it just enough character without becoming fussy. Originally silver plated over copper, the underlying copper now peeks through at the rim and foot where generations of polishing gradually wore the silver back. Personally, I think the piece is stronger because of it.
