Long and elegant, with molded shell handles at each end that feel almost architectural and very French. The caramel glaze has rich amber tones collectors look for in old terre vernissée (glazed terracotta).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTurn it over and the underside tells the rest of the story. Dark firing and cooking marks cover the base, evidence of years spent over heat.
