This antique French cutting board has that classic paddle-handle shape that feels instantly at home in any kitchen. The warm golden-brown wood, softened edges and simple hanging hole give it the softspoken beauty of something made to be used every day... and it was during it's long life in a French country kitchen.
This planche à découper ancienne, or old cutting board, likely dates from the late 19th century and was cut from a single thick plank. The surface carries dense knife marks from years of chopping and slicing, with deeper patina along the edges where hands and use settled into the grain.
Use it for bread, cheese, saucisson or a simple apéro before dinner... or hang it with other old boards where the worn wood can bring warmth to the room. It is simple, honest and full of French farmhouse character.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
