At first glance, this vintage French faience pitcher looks like old enamelware that has lived a very busy kitchen life. That is the fun of it. The dark “worn” spots are actually exposed clay where the glaze was held back during firing, giving the white glaze and blue trim a playful trompe l’oeil feeling.
The form is clean and delightful, with a tall body, shaped pouring spout and generous scrolled handle. A cobalt blue line traces the rim and spout... adding just the right bit of color against the white glaze. The interior glaze appears clean and intact.
Set this pichet on a sideboard, kitchen counter or shelf with tulips, eucalyptus or simple garden flowers... or use it for drinks or whatever you would like! It feels bright, easy and a little unexpected because everything thinks this should be enameled steel rather than ceramic!

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
