This French bouillotte lamp has the mood of a proper library, desk or evening sitting room. The deep green tôle shade, brass accents and two candle-style lights give it that low, intimate glow that makes a space feel instantly more finished.
The bouillotte lamp began at the French card table, where the shade could be raised or lowered as the candles burned down. This vintage example, likely dating from the 1920s to 1950s, keeps that same Louis XVI style with a fluted central column, scrolled arms, dished base and adjustable green metal shade edged in gilt.
The arrow finial at the top loosens so the shade can move along the central rod, which is both practical and visually lovely. The two lights work, with faux-candle sleeves that keep the look close to its original inspiration. As with any vintage lamp, wiring should be checked for your home by a qualified electrician before regular use.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
