This French zinc broc à eau has the kind of surface designers look for but new pieces never get right. The blue-gray zinc, rusted iron base band and hand-soldered seams give it a quiet, architectural style that works beautifully in a kitchen, entry, garden room or covered terrace.
Likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, this water pitcher was made for everyday household use. The pear-shaped body was formed from zinc sheet, with a curved pouring spout, tall arched handle at the neck and side handle for tipping.
