This antique French Longwy soup tureen has that graceful table presence that makes a meal feel elevated for before anyone sits down. The cream body, blue floral garlands, sculpted handles and domed lid feel elegant... but still completely at home in a French country kitchen.
Marked Longwy Capucine on the base, with an impressed Longwy roundel, this soupière couverte likely dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. The Capucine pattern combines blue transferware decoration with hand-painted blue accents along the handles, foot and molded details.
The shape is beautifully balanced, with a low pedestal foot, deep round body and sculpted leaf finial on the lid. Filled for soup, displayed on a sideboard or kept with other blue and white French tableware, it brings classic Longwy charm to the table.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
