The terrine is formed in hand thrown earthenware. The lid is especially appealing, with its molded sunflower style motif radiating outward from the central knop. Small chips along the rim, scattered firing flecks, and natural craquelure across the glaze all contribute to the authenticity and lived character of this terrine à pâté (pâté terrine).
