The yellow is what caught my eye with this amazing vintage ice bucket. This vintage French tôle peinte champagne cooler has the kind of color that dresses a bar that not many pieces have the ability to do. Before the bottle is even opened, people will be asking about this unique piece. With it's neoclassical hunting trophy decoration and amazing yellow color, it feels wonderfully French.
Made in the mid-20th century, this seau à champagne (or it can be used as an ice bucket) follows the Directoire-style revival of painted metal table pieces. The urn shape has a fitted lid, brass finial and insulating liner inside, ready to hold ice around a chilled bottle.
The painted surface shows wear along the foot and where the lid meets the body, giving it the softened look of a piece that has seen plenty of French tables. Set it out before guests arrive with Champagne, rosé or sparkling wine, and the evening already feels more festive.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
