This saladier, or deep serving bowl, likely dates from the late 19th century and is consistent with French terre de fer and faience fine tableware of the period. The blue transferware wraps the well with flowers, while a small floral sprig sits quietly at the center.
The glaze shows crazing, soft staining and age from long use. The underside carries a worn faience mark and an impressed size number. It is simple, useful and wonderfully French... the kind of bowl that looks just as good on a dresser as it does in the middle of lunch.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
