This well preserved wall mounted utensil holder was purchased at a vide maison in the Luberon and removed directly from the wall where it had likely hung for decades.
Constructed from thin sheet steel, possibly originally tinned for kitchen use, the piece features two deep cylindrical compartments beneath a decorative scalloped backplate with an integrated hanging loop. The surface shows a quiet, honest patina developed through daily domestic life rather than display.
The form is firmly utilitarian, intended to smaller utensils and everyday cooking tools close at hand. Over time, the original protective finish has softened or worn away, allowing the steel to develop a richly varied surface with areas of oxidation and darkened tone that speak to age and long use.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
