This vintage French wrought iron pot rack has that rustic kitchen feeling people look for in old country houses. The oval frame, curled hooks and rooster silhouettes give it plenty of personality... while the rust-brown patina keeps everything grounded and delightfully French country kitchen style.
Known in French as a porte-casseroles, this ceiling-hung rack likely dates from the early to mid 20th century. It was made to hang above a kitchen table, island or working area, keeping pots, pans, utensils or herbs close at hand.
The rooster, or coq, gives the piece its French country character without feeling too polished. One rooster cut-out has broken away over time, which is visible and part of the condition. Use it with copper pans, dried herbs, small baskets or utensils for a kitchen, pantry or covered terrace. Proper ceiling installation is required if used to hold cookware.

Are returns or exchanges accepted?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with EU consumer law. Buyer covers return shipping and items must be returned in original condition. Refunds include the item price and original standard shipping.
